Hyatt Place Phoenix Gilbert

Upset because I booked at $116 ad on the internet but charged $139 a night pluss the taxes. The first night my towels were not changed out but picked up off the floor and rehung, even a dirty washcloth. Kids were in the pool beneath my window. We called Tia at 10:06 and recalled at 10:25 as nothing had been done to get them out. Then at 10:27, 7 kids were in there and when I called Tia she said she couldn't leave the desk unattended. Why isn't that pool checked at 10 pm and locked or monitored. Tia was not helpful and we had listened to those kids since 9 pm. Screaming and shoving each other in the pool, trying to drown each other.

Thank you for an awesome stay. The property is great and the staff is personable. The hotel serves super breakfasts and offers nice and ideal rooms with pull out couch and the shower and sofa. The lobby bar is nice, truly enjoyed this place. The services are helpful, including a heated pool. The fact that it has a smooth check in, that worked great for us.

It was hard to properly rate this hotel using the scales above. There were some awesome employees and others (Rory) that were less friendly. I liked that food was available 24 hrs a day, but I didn't like that food could not be delivered to the room.

Our room was tidy and ideal, equipped with a shower and a king bed, for example.

It was just a fitting option for a weekend trip in Gilbert with great value-to-price ratio. The shower in my room wasn't perfect but did its job for a quick rinse. Make sure to check if body wash is included before you settle in.

great access to parks and shopping areas for weekend walks

I found the hotel conveniently close to Discovery Park and the SanTan Village Marketplace, both perfect for leisurely strolls and enjoying nature as well as some shopping. The atmosphere secure hotel.
